I guess I for some reason find Banega to be an endearing tit... and that he seems to have got his act together since joining Sevilla. But you're absolutely correct, character plays a huge part for Martinez, and rightly so.
Played decent in Greece but I don't think he's physically strong enough for the Prem with his injury record.
Good on his day but would cost a lot and we already have an overload of central players.

Yeah i'd agree with that, but the difference with him is he's good on the edge of the opponents box ie little through balls etc.

Yup. I'd take him for the right price - it's not even his consistency really - it's where he'd play. Barkley will not be moved deeper yet, which I think means any playmaker we play will slot in on the left like Pienaar. Dembele can't play wide.
