Your first match at goodison

"Mind your car,please, Sir"
I'm speaking late 60s,70s....
Always answer ,no change, see you later.
Otherwise tyres were let down.

…I’d often park at Hermitage and give the ‘mind your car’ kids money. Once I got back and found the engine running which confused me for a bit until I realised somebody had barrelled my door locks and ignition. They must’ve been disturbed but it proved that the little buggers never did ‘mind your car’.

Can't be specific, but probably circa 1964-65.

My dad had a season ticket for the upper Bullens.

He would slip the guy on the turnstile half a crown, and lift me over the turnstile.

Everyone seemed to smoke, and the reek of Higson's bitter could knock you down at ten paces.

Loads of memories, but so glad we are moving onwards and upwards.

I actually don't remember my first, I know I was young child and it was a coach trip from Newquay Cornwall, no parents but a school trip if I remember correctly. I know we lost to Man United tho. Im thinking 1990. I've not been to many games and took me until my 6th game to finally see Everton score. My last was against Manchester City when we won 4-0 back in 2017.

Everton vBolton 1963 night game.We won 2-0.AlexYoung and Denis Stevens scored.Park end stand fantastic.Dad lifted me over the turnstile dropped the guy some money I think.

I can't remember my first game but I know I was taken to games in 83/84 to make sure I enjoyed it (wasn't a pain) but the first game that I can remember is the 5 nil against United which isn't a bad one :)

When we got beat 2-1 by Bolton and Tim Howard scored. Can’t remember much of any of it cause I was so so young but definetly an extraordinary one!

We live 1800miles away now so my son has only been 3 times. 1-3 v city, 0-2 forest, 0-2 Bournemouth.

Would have been Gordon Lee era with my Grandad.
Going with mates. Greame Sharps first season. Its what makes the whole Sharp thing tough for me. Didnt like the board thing. But i basically went from school to working knowing only Sharp leading the line for Everton.
Big Nev and Sharpie were Everton to me.
