The lad is 19 ffs. Not even played enough yet to know whether he will end up being crap or will develop into something decent.

It is the type of signing that Everton should be making instead of pensioners who nobody else will have and you will lose your money on in a very short time.

Get another forward in with more experience and let this lad learn and develop and see how it goes. He has the potential to be decent with good coaching.

Basing that on the fact you’ve literally never seen him play. The guy might end up brilliant, he might not. None of us know as we’ve not seen him play. we’ve all said loads of times we need to be buying players with potential before the price sky rockets and we can’t afford or attract them. Time will tell

Let’s not write the guy off before he’s been given a chance yeah?

Not written off,the lad has a promising future. The problem is we may never see it if the has a relegation clause in his contract. We need a proven scorer who can hit the ground running.

We need prolific forwards , unfortunately unless we find a diamond in the rough or a bargain oversight , they usually cost significant fees which we seemingly can’t pay. This kind of signing might of been better suited to a more settled side to ease into the first team, not some of the dross we have.

From what I’ve seen I’m not convinced by this however Good luck to him, we need some pleasant surprises (and goals of course)

That's the problem. The top eight have the time to ease young players in,we don't have that luxury. The number of chances we create...pity the poor lad.

Gyokeres looked like he was carrying a few pounds to me yesterday.
