I hope this does happen.
The type of transfer we need to make.
The lad is only 19 and has years of improvement in him, I don't know what people expect of a player of that age.

If nothing else it will help shut up the stupid argument about lack of scouting when last year we bought Onana and nearly had Kudus a player I don't think anybody had heard of.
It seems to me that Thelwell is a very innovative DOF considering that he seems to have practically no budget.

I would be perfectly happy if we could get an older more experienced striker in as well , an Iheanacho or even Vardy to take the pressure off the young lad for the coming season.

Also, please sign someone creative for midfield.

I suppose Fab releasing this early puts "pressure" on the club and makes the deal that little bit harder.

It also alerts other clubs to him being "available", the downside of the ITK game I always feel.
Exactly. Agents and intermediaries caused so much trouble with Bilal Toure by using Sacha for starter to spin a narrative. It's a minefield.

Fab has gone a little early as far as I know and to say it's all agreed is a bit premature.

As hes got bigger, theres always a danger he will be used as a pawn in the game.

Has the club released this info, or is it coming from the players/sportings end?

Think success is the wrong word. Progress is the right word. We are not in a position to be even discussing success right now, but we do need to be looking to progress from where we are.

My problem is you can see this is leading to years of content again should we not be involved in anymore relegation battles like we did years ago Smith/Moyes eras. The stadium will be used as a narrative of “stability “ that will go on and on, all the while other clubs pass us further by.

Whilst there is a strong element of stirring, debates over Everton or West Ham for example being a bigger club should not be happening however over the years we have put ourselves in a position where we can be used for such nonsense.

And I can see the cycle happening again. The bog beast and his lackeys are still here too. It’s monotonous. True it’s a cynical perspective but I hope you can see where I’m coming from with it.
