1) not arsed
2) anything that wouldn't class you as a wool, @chicoazul had a map I believe
3) Indyref or bust
4) a beatles song likely, even if they're super boring
5) Tom Davies and his best dressed mates
6) an Everton crest
7) legalise beak. In fact, enforce it - everyone must use it daily.

Sounds like a beak-ocracy to me

About 3 and a half minutes in there's the usual "Go anywhere in Liverpool and everyone will help you regardless of where you're from etc etc..."

That's just not true. Nothing wrong with being proud of being from Liverpool and taking pride in your city but the amount of delusion is off the wall with some scousers.
Does it mention the links to the slave trade ? And some of the beautiful architecture and were the money came from to build it? Or do they brush that under the carpet

Yeah, that's bumming up the city. But a lot of narrative, particularly about the Thatcher era (which I lived through in Liverpool) is decent. And how other parts of the country look down on Liverpudlians. Believe me, I was subject to a lot of it, coming from Liverpool, when I moved with my job.

A few years ago I asked for a pack of ciggies at the airport shop and the lady looked at me like this based on the 5 words I'd said:

I felt loved.

Not mentioned at all, Mr Carlin. As (I presume) you rightly point out, it is a side of my city that is not good at all. As we know, Liverpool was part of the triangle of African coast-Americas coast-Liverpool.

First sentence - good craic.

Second sentence - I agree, but when it's right in your face. I always ignored it. But the locals are off the scale with their insular attitude to others and the nasty vibe they give off. You may have experienced a bit of the same where you live, roydo.
