Well if the deal had gone through we’d be owned by ACap by the end of the month. Foreclosure within weeks of taking the keys would be pretty tough to beat

It wasn’t theirs. They borrowed it. Look at the tweet just above about Vasco. The company who lent 777 the money is effectively seizing assets because 778 can’t pay. The asset in this instance are shares of the company that controls Vasco (not Vasco itself). It could very well be a...

These guys aren’t buying us. Moshiri is the dumbest, the smartest or the luckiest party in all of this for getting 200 million from these mopes.

it is quite hilarious that a guy who wears a cap everywhere is being undone by a company called ACap.

The first club to put this on their shirt will be paid a hefty amount. The next 15-20 clubs, not so much.

Correct, if Usmanov was behind this, it would have closed in December.

They're employees, can leave at a moment's notice. It's why they should never have been considered a benefit of 777.

That's a big assumption. There will be covenants to meet in those agreements, it's not strictly about repaying the debt or interest.

    1. No, unless they take control of the entity that loaned the club the money (which is possible/likely). At any rate, we're not getting 200 million for free. 2. Moshiri is the club in this instance, the agreement is between the club and 777.

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

I guess that’s why Dyche wore the tie, he was the accounting manager as well. And next season is likely to be more of the same in regards to our circumstances. Perhaps less points deductions. More pragmatism required. And no I don’t see him lasting much past our financial difficulties, if...

I keep reading this but the bottom three are more often like they are this year than they were in 22-23. Or at least 2 of the three teams are. Also, we’re on 45 points, we’re safe in every PL season with matches to spare.

Someone could take over the debt. They won’t be able to collect for the same reason 777 can’t-there’s no cash in the club. Filing Administration against the club would be pointless, given their position as an unsecured creditor they likely won’t see a dime.

And they’ve lent 777 affiliates cash directly, which it seems like they are foreclosing on (planes), or they’re able to use that collateral to unwind their reinsurance positions to get back into acceptable risk parameters.
