£40m Bid Made For Sigurdsson

Hmmm.

Even if that were true it still plays into the club's business model. They want these players sold to try to meet each successive manager's spending demands.
With all respect, if they wanted these players sold, why where they alledgedly offered the highest contracts in the clubs history?

What happens if you spend wisely but have a negative net spend?

We should reject all bids of in excess of 2m for Niasse and Joel as any club bidding in excess of that amount is out of control and reckless. And as true custodians of the game we must ensure the sanctity of the market remains intact.

We must spend wisely. And sell wisely. To ensure that all clubs get fairness and equitable treatment.

Up Everton.

Allegedly.

As said, even if they did it doesn't mean they would find it a great chore to go with the sale.

They dont fight tooth and nail because ultimately it's a how the club operates: it sells its best players all the time.

You stand still, because your best players were sold off to afford the payments for those wise purchases.

Not hard to understand really.
Serious question what current owners of a Pl side would you preferred own EFC
