2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

I think we're safe, but that in no way justifies letting January going by without being used ahead of next season.

The summer is going to require some very heavy lifting and we should have lightened that load in the window that just closed.

Have you thanked David Moyes for that yet? Considering a few weeks ago you were posting we were going to get relegated.

JOB goes to play in the centre with Tarkowski and Patterson/Young in at right back.

Moyes is not a Keane lover like Dyche was.

We quite simply don’t know that though. Moyes could well keep JOB at right back for continuity.

If Keane comes into the team at any point for any reason it changes the entire dynamic, he’s a one man relegation machine

One injury to Branthwaite and a Michael Keane inspired hatchet job v the RS and there’d be some serious reassessment of confidence in here.

I’ve thought we’re better than the bottom 3 all season but not by much and not if our key players are missing for long periods. We’ve just lost our best striker and key midfielder and not replaced either. Whilst the defence stays fit I’m not too concerned but if Branthwaite and Garner ran into each other in training tomorrow, or Ndiaye pulled up, and Leicester won a game the world could start to look very different again.

Beto isnt injured as far as im aware.

And that is the reason that he will not play at CB; the only way he comes into the team is as an emergency striker.

Moyes is a wily fox; he knows Keane is a wreck at CB.
