Given they're so mindful of fans and all that they surely would have had some message of consolation, sympathy, reasoned explanation for Everton fans.

Spent £19M more than was allowed for under FFP.

To paraphrase a line from Apocalypse Now: "Handing out 10 point deductions to Everton for overspending by less than £20M in the PL is like handing out speeding tickets at the Indy 500".

Any apology would be as fleeting as those issued by the PGMOL. Do you really harbour the urge to be pacified/have your head patted?

Nope. I want them to address the fact that their actions have punished fans when one of the reasons they didn't punish the Euro League lot was that fans would be punished.
