6 + 2 Point Deductions

The PL punishing any other organisation over spending is obscene. The Saudi link is enough to condemn them forever.

We can never forgive or forget this though.

Everton have been transformed as of yesterday into a club who's supporters will be switched on politically to just about every situation that affects football.

This is going to be a political education for our fans, and the fanbase will never be the same again.

I think its more then just awareness mate. An absolute boundry needs to be put down and we all have to be part of it.

This cant be let go and we have to raise the tension with the PL and take them on. we are being treated as a low brow club and one of the smelly kids in school - who is getting used to be walked all over.

Whatever happens whether - whether the deduction is over turned or not we have to hurt the PL and make them sick of us or things like this will just keep happening again, its happened before and we ignored it. This is the PL trying to kick up down to an insignificant, useful canary in the mine for their own ends and if we accept it we deserve it.

Yep.

Well said. There is a lot of naivety from posters thinking we will just breeze by the 3 promoted clubs. This could have a huge psychological impact on the players as well as our tiny little squad. Sadly we have to bin off the league cup. Play the kids in that
Then it's up to us, again, to make sure that doesn't happen.
One thing this has done is united and galvanised a fan base.
We should be determined and creative in how we deal with this, and absolutely NO kopite behaviour of threats and poo parcels in the post.
Stay classy blues.

I’ve read the judgement, at what point does it state that we didnt get a sporting advantage?

Although it states we didnt deliberately do it for that reason (Paragraph 104) they state that breaking PSR confers an advantage (Paragraph 92)

They wouldn’t get close to £100m each. Price to 777 reduced and difference used to fund compo. Given Mosh’s culpability he should fund entirely himself and the “company” should not. The compo isn’t a sporting penalty so there would be no need to punish the club and ensure its club funds that settle it. It’s purely to put those that lost out back to where they would have been. If he had any pride he would find completely.

Can’t see it happening. Most sensible commentators have said it would be batted away quickly.

I hope you’re right but I would be amazed if Moshiri just takes it on.

Have you got a link to the sensible commentators?

If we go down this club's fans will be a nightmare for the football authorities to handle.

If I were the PL I'd be 'nudging' POGML to make sure Everton are handed a lot of favourable decisions to get us over the line.

We are not Sunderland, Portsmouth or Boro. This is such an obvious political take down and we will not go quietly and we won't stay quite.

Could the club be fined if Dyche and Every player answered every question with "Dunno really" like the lad from Royle Family. I know they can fine for refusing an interview. I want us to go full petty mode
We’ll never get that from Dyche.

He’s a keep his head down sort of bloke who will talk about only being able to affect what happens on the pitch and cutting out the noise etc.

You think those cases will be heard this season?

And you think relegation is a remote possibility for one of their brand clubs?

One of the Chelsea issues looks like it might be handled quite quickly, as they've self reported. The second one around spending in the last 24 months may take longer to crystallise but make no mistake, this outcome is a bigger disaster for them than for us: they were banking on a fine emerging as the precedent.

City, who knows, but you'd certainly expect so given the length of time it has been in process.

The scale of what is alleged with them relative to us must make relegation all but certain. Plus the PL will do anything to keep Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal in the tent, they wouldn't blink about squashing City and Chelsea to achieve it.

There are two objectives, one sporting - so the job of work now is to compete with Burnley, Luton Sheff Utd and Bourmouth - we do that with integrity.

Secondly and regardless of what happens with appeals - we have to create an absolute chaos or we become a mark, we have to stand our corner, raise the tension, agitate and damage the BPL brand any way we can, guerilla as well - dont make it to predictable.

We delay games for TV, we target sponsors - make them toxic, we turn our back on the game on 10 mins, we bring flares, we withdraw from media we invade the pitch - thats for starters.

We make the PL toxic and we make those that support them toxic here too.

I think all that will happen. This club's fanbase show what can happen if they're crossed and we're united. Look at the forcing out of the board. The was the dry run for this...but this will be on steroids.
