6 + 2 Point Deductions

The PL admitting that this ruling prevents the consistent and fair application of the rules (whether you agree with the rules or not). Interesting, and insane.

Every major football governing body is a criminal embarrassment. I thought FIFAs crown was safe but the Prem is unhinged lately.

This idea that football is some unique butterfly for which the proven successes in other sports cannot possibly apply to the beautiful game is a problem.

Any copy, paste, replace of any major sports salary cap and VAR would have been better than the “unique” solutions they created and which are now both close to collapse.

They are failures on every level. Since its inception and Sky money (which is decades ago and just carried on) they haven’t even commercialized the game particularly well compared with other leagues. Stalled in the US and many big markets with no new ideas. Just coasting by on it being the most popular sport.

Could this be intentional? If I wanted a super league and I was a criminal billionaire I’d just bribe the PL into gridlock and ruin their brand so everyone hates them and we can do the thing we want to do. But no time for conspiracy talk … we were discussing PSR point deductions.

Not being funny mate, but you come across like a PL bot reviewing forums to feedback to the mother ship.

You appear every time PSR is in the cross hairs.

Curiously you joined March 23, the same month we were first charged.

If your talking to Richard, tell him he’s a tool from me.

I think you’re spot on. Every post is in regards to this issue.

Not sure it is to be honest, it’s evidential of the loop hole and the relevent clubs can exploit it.
It’s not a loop hole. It’s the nature of the league.

Teams get relegated. Teams get promoted.

Every season ownership is transferred from the relegated sides to the promoted sides at the AGM.

I’m no fan of the league and the way it conducts its business, but to use this essential mechanism as a stick to beat it with is farcical.

Apologies if it's already been posted, but how much were Leicester over the £105m limit?

What would their likely deduction have been, if any?

PSR is finished, it doesn't get close to the stated aim, the restriction on spending is abhorrent to the supercharged owners of the Scab Six (except Levy) and it can't even be administered in a timely manner.

It'll just be us and Notts Forest getting the punishment, won't it?

Something like £24m I believe and depending on what article you read it was anywhere between 6 and 15 points

To be fair, what you said was completely wrong.
