6 + 2 Point Deductions

This is what im thinking.

May as well see City and Chelsea and the likes drop £1billion in January as they know nothing will happen but 12pt deduction.

All clubs sign that they will agree to this process and thats that.

Cant see how they can sue us.

Of course we dont want any points deduction but if it has to be then best that it's this season with 3 far worse teams than us.

1 points needed now to be out of the bottom 3 as it stands

We'll be fine (hopefully)

Need to have an Everton vs the rest of the world attitude from both players and fans now, especially at Goodison!
This is it, in an ideal world this galvanizes us and makes us play angry (which I feel we are always best doing). Gets the fans all going etc and we take no more crap.

It’s called a vexatious appeal mate.

I’m not sure how it works in cases like this, but it will depend on how good a case our lawyers put up.

If we’ve admitted an overspend, like it seems we have, mitigation would probably be the best way to go, with a view to watering the punishment down, with possibly a suspension of some of the points deducted and some of them getting struck off.

do you think wel appeal/ fight it and it will go in our favour?

writing was on the wall from the moment the club said they were confident they hadn't done anything wrong and would not receive a punishment
BUT WHAT WOULD THE EVERTON BOARD DO?

The findings seem to suggest the club mislead the league on the issue of capitalised interest but I do not follow their argument as laid out.

If the league, as it states, makes no allegation of dishonesty, then I do not see how a charge of failing to act in good faith can follow.

The QC helping City in their case raised a complaint a while back that the KC leading the independent panel (Murray Rosen) is an Arsenal fan.

Bear that in mind when reading "it failed to discharge the duty of utmost good faith".
