Sue us all you want you beauts you're still in the Champo
Hope we pull safe no matter what, people at the top really don't want us to move in our new ground as a premier league club.. premier league mafia at work here...
They only need to stretch it out to the point the regulator is brought in, where it has already been said points deductions won’t be applied for financial infractions. Couldnt make it up really. Send the ref to check the monitorThey won't get the same or similar punishment IMO as they'll see it as historical issues. Both their lawyers will tie they up in riddles and they'll get a slap on the wrist.
Okay, so have they made an example of us because they don’t want the Premier League to be regulated by the government?
What are they trying to hide?
The mouthpiece tweet says that everything was done under PL scrutiny. 1. That’s not really possible and 2. It’s irrelevant. Read the report. Each time EFC ran a transaction by them the PL was clear that it wasn’t responsible for keeping EFC in compliance. It's not about them being in control of the finances, it's the idea to take action if they feel a club are heading a certain direction. Hence why we were in close communication.
If this wasn't the case, we'd have spunked more money rather than be the lowest spenders in the league for about 3 seasons.
But by your and I'm guessing the commission opinion, the club was spectacularly naive to even be in close communication with the PL in regards to our financial situation. Because it was the belief that if there were any worries and concerns the PL would've advised or intervened.
They didn't. Other clubs threatened to sue but the PL responded by saying we were compliant.
If being in communication with the PL meant nothing we wouldn't have done it.
Can’t wait for next weekend. United won’t know what’s hit them when they come out
