Honestly mate, if you think for one second Everton are calling me and letting me know things before announcing things themself, then I give up! However, football is a small world and I know people in the game. That's all it is. It's really not that deep. I don't see the same scramble from people when David Ornstein releases a story before the clubs? Plus, with respect to myself and 'the esk', we are completely different mate. Like I've said numerous times, no hard feelings to anyone who doesn't like the channel, me, or anything else concerning it for that matter, it's not for everyone!
Thanks for the response. It's appreciated.
No, I dont think the club is calling you. I assume you know a few journos. I was trying to make a point about how poor the club is at controlling it's info, it wasn't meant to be a personal attack on you.
As you say, not for everyone. Best of luck.

From an Echo article regarding the “fire sale” rumours. Perhaps certain Prominent Supporters should take note of the adverse impact of irresponsible speculation:

The 21-year-old centre-back – whose current Everton contract runs until 2027 – is also considered to have a premium on his valuation given that he is both English and left-footed. While there may be uncertainty around the future ownership of the club, the Blues hierarchy have maintained they are in a stable financial position and have been left annoyed by what they consider irresponsible claims that could be damaging to their staff and players, partners and prospective partners suggesting they are close to 'going bust' or 'entering administration'.

@The Esk please take note regarding your fear mongering.

Who wants to buy that stadium if not Everton, though?

It's not analogous to a house, which has any number of potential buyers or tenants.

I suppose another point to make is the area where the house is located determines the value massively. Admittedly, we are a bit out on a limb from the city centre at the moment. I suspect in 20 years we won't be. We will be right at the heart of things. That can only be good for EFC and can only mean the value of the stadium goes up (without us having to do anything to it) when we are sold again (and probably again) in the coming decades.

Perhaps it would have helped their case if they hadn’t spent the last 9months desperately trying to offload the club into the hands of a gang of yank conmen whilst loading the club with high interest loans lifted from the coffers of American pension funds .
I mean it hardly suggests financial stability like.

Bobbleman, didn't I hear your voice interviewing Everton players in Portugal, i.e as part of the clubs social media team?

Nothing wrong with that mind, I look to your channels for gossip as much as the next man. If so, I'm, assuming the club know what you do and are happy for it to continue as any engagement is good engagement!
