My best guess would probably be he has contact with Bell and / or Downing who themselves were seemingly part of the MSP deal and likely to take senior positions had MSP gone through.

They’ll still be lurking in the background, either still as part of MSP interest or on their own. Given that they’re rich but not THAT rich it might make sense that they are the parties who could only take over post-administration.
They can't be that short of money, don't forget not long after they initially got knocked back from us they tried to make a bid for Spurs as part of some coalition.

That would be my guess too.
Hardly Machiavellian stuff is it .?
They all share a common interest as Evertonians.

Blythe Capital act as the security agent for MSP's loan to Everton Stadium Development Company.

Blythe Capital are also the company holding the charges on the Bramley-Moore Stadium land, and on Moshiri's Blue Heaven Holdings (50% plus one share).

Blythe Capital is owned by Andy Bell and his wife.

As some theatre bloke once said, "Watch this space."

I would love to know Rights & Media Funding’s explanation of how MSP coming on board with their deal and adding the expertise of Bell, Downing and MSP themselves at board level, could’ve possibly been worse for them and the club than the utter crapshow that’s resulted from them vetoing the deal.
