Very rarely does it seem they do, or that they utilise fitness training as much, for some reason.
At least the newer ones - older managers have learned, be it by experience or, you know, common sense. Hopefully they've inspired their players - no idea how Kompany or Rooney, for example, are doing in that department, but both their backgrounds are from very fitness-oriented managers so...
Have to wonder if they view fitness as something individuals work on, rather than needing to drill it home. Get the impression the top top players are pretty self-motivated to improve so don't get those that aren't. Not helpful as a manager, like.Yeah that's what I mean.
A lot are "new" to the management game and I suppose we'll see as time goes on, but it's a bit weird someone who was a pro footballer for 10-15-20 years absolutely overlooks physical fitness as part of the game.

That’s a bit of a stretch, he was good for the first 8 gamesHe was in tremendous form last season until the idiot took over
Was comfortably our best player in the first quarter, his injury was a loss but came back and had a great game against city. After that he lost form and was managed by a moron. That’s a bit of a stretch, he was good for the first 8 games
He only missed 4 games though. Has with many poor players in this squad, they have spells of games, people hype them up, they then return to normal services. Was comfortably our best player in the first quarter, his injury was a loss but came back and had a great game against city. The idea he is has never played well before and is only doing so now is disingenuous from posters who have been made to look a bit silly by his performances.
I don't think the majority are poor performances. Had good and bad spells with carlo, good and bad spells last year and has been very good this year. He is a CM with largely poor technique so he will have good and not so good games with that attribute. But he is a very useful player and there is a lack of objectivity towards him.He only missed 4 games though. He’s played 81 premier league times for this club, the majority of poor performances far outweigh the good ones

He’s been playing well under Dyche for the most part, but he has still had some absolute blunders at the same time. Don’t do anything stupid financially. His inconsistencies aren’t worth the financial burden.
What are your thoughts mate? He’s been pretty good under Dyche but I think he’s way too inconsistent. This forum is a funny place though. People tend to have short memories at times it seems. Me included.Had to check this wasn’t the Iwobi thread reading that mate.
We cant pay him what he wants not at that age, sad but true.We can expect him to be good next year so with a one year extension mate.
