Ademola Lookman

Deserves his chance, but prefer to see him on left. Coleman struggling and right side got to be sorted defensively asap. Team's targeting that side. Centre mids getting dragged out there all game.

He’s had several, to be fair. Lookman deserves a chance to start a few matches himself and see what he can do. If he’s not going to be given a few starts and proper opportunities even when the likes of Walcott are having a poor run, then what’s the point?

If he doesn’t get starting opportunities soon then he’ll have every right to sulk IMO.

He has had two on the run, that's it.

He needs to make his own opportunities when he gets his chances! He did well last week which gave him another chance to get 30 mins this weekend and he didn't do much with it.

Don't get people saying he didn't do anything today. Thought he looked good when he came on and actually looked bothered for once. Would start him as Walcott was shocking today.

nail on the head that, how many times did he hassle united and win the ball back, won the ball back more times in 20 minutes than theo has in 2/3 games

I do like Walcott but he needs dropping, need to rid players of this undroppable status

lookman is far more of a threat against teams who will sit back, he has more than pace

I know he is, but lately Walcott has the demeanour of not looking arsed.

deffo mate, don't know who it was on sky sports but he said something like after making the mistake for the first goal giving the ball away you make sure you do everything to not let anything happen again down your side, for the second goal he';s just jogging back and it's pathetic ( or something along those lines ) and that's right. deffo needs to sit out for a bit

Gives the ball away in the run up to the pen, gives the ball away and doesn't bother to track back for the second. Refused to lay the ball off to richarlison twice! Instead taking stupid shots at the best keeper in the world. Did nothing but miss a 1v1 against palace. Missed another 1v1 at Leicester and couldn't put tosun through with a simple though ball. Didn't track back at arsenal with lacazette and basically conceded the same goal as martial. Was crap against West ham.

Let me ask this, what game has he been good in?

Well he was good against Southampton and Bournemouth, did well when he came on in the cup game.

I know all this you are saying, that's not really the point I am making. Let me bounce your question back at you, What has Lookman done to "deserve" a start? Purely not being Walcott?

Looked hungry yesterday, I feel if he shows the right attitude and desire he has a very good chance of being an excellent player
