I don't remember every appearance Lookman made but I also remember enough moments of genuine quality that the suggestion he's done nothing but score against City is bogus.

As for Bernard being a key part of our good finish, how many people get to be key? Because I'd say Richarlison, Digne, Gylfi, Zouma, Gueye and Keane were all more important.

Everyone played a part. The most striking thing about our finish was our team performances. He brought out the best in Digne, no disagreement there I take it? lost the ball less than Lookman does. Was an excellent out for Pickford on counter attacks because he has a great first touch. Lookman had moment of skill and flair no doubt about it and it would have been good if it worked out, as in he got his head down and became a team player. He didn't, he's going, Silva is right

Being able to bring out the best in a fullback is a great attribute for a winger. It also can't be the only attribute. Silva is right? You've got more faith in him than I do. We haven't had a top second season from a manager in 30 years and Gueye leaving would require an entire redesign of the team.

Came on and set up DCL as well didn’t he? Good work for the goal against spurs last game of the season , hit the bar when he cane on with his weak foot , can’t remeber who against . He shows flashes all the time and he’s only getting 10 minutes. If you want more than flashes you need to be given more consistent game time .

But it isn't his only attribute... he wins the ball back, has pace on the counter, an excellent first touch, doesn't lose the ball easily, his team mates like playing with him and say so, works hard in defense. Hadn't played in 6 months and then settled into a new league pretty well. Could do with more goals and direct assists sure but you are quoting Lookman hitting the bar as a major highlight. I agree AL has talent but he doesn't have most of Bernard's qualities that I listed there. We all hoped he would but he clearly didn't do enough to justify it. Silva has done much more for Everton than Lookman has so it is strange you doubt him but not Lookman
