Is that apart from Richarlison? Lookman had one big flaw too...he didn’t what to play for the club.Because he's the only player we have that is two footed, pacey, able to go by players at ease, and clever enough to get into the box to both shoot and set up others. Basically he's the only player we have that even resembles the best modern day wingers a little bit and we've thrown that potential away for the "safe" options. I put safe in quotes because Walcott and Bolasie were both used over him because they had more tactical experience only for them to both not track back and cost us goals.
It sure does.Working hard and having a good attitude keeps you at the club does it?

Richarlison isn't exactly like what I described. I love his game but he has a very weird style that isn't typical of a winger. Is that apart from Richarlison? Lookman had one big flaw too...he didn’t what to play for the club.
I can pretty easily prove Bernard does most of his work outside the box. It isn't hard to see if you care to look.
I don't know why there has to be so much dishonestly about Bernard tbh. You can rate him without making him more than he is. He's a guy who links play and works hard but as a creator he's average and he doesn't add a goal threat.
Do t be upset it's just my opinion ion as well, just think Lookman has flattered to deceive, great skill levels, but plays with his head down, now that's just my take on it
Michy Batshuayi went to Palace on loan; we could have got Tielemans in on loan to add some punch from in behind the strikers; Gabbiadini went to Napoli for £14M.
There were options.
At that rate yes. But if you also start from his time on loan at RBL and go through today he's had 6 assists in 1200 league minutes so one every 200 minutes which is really quite good when you carry a goal threat as well.Bernard: ~190 career club games 46 G / 58 A
Lookman: ~62 career club games 21 G / 9 assists
If Lookman carries on with those averages then he’s hardly a creator is he. I like the kid, I think he’s talented, no less talented than Dowell IMO, but he can’t show enough in training to get in ahead of Walcott and that says everything I need to know.

You can't totally discount his time before that but given his age it is reasonable to look at the more recent evidence given he's probably still developing as a player. And the last 18 months have been in tougher leagues than a majority of what Bernard has done.
Bernard averages a goal or an assist every 461.6 minutes
Lookman averages a goal or an assist every 118.5 minutes
Lookman is 6 years younger.
Incredibly bad business in the modern market to let him go for half what Chelsea have REJECTED for Hudson Odoi
Yeah I'll never understand why both Koeman and Silva refused to test the depths of the squad when we got to the point that top 4 and relegation were both not possible..... if you believe that Silva has done the right thing picking Walcott ahead of Lookman in countless games where we had nothing to lose and nothing to gain, I’m really not sure what to say.
He`s gone now and not coming back, time to move on.
