I keep seeing these posts and can't believe people don't remember how many match threads had people saying how Lookman played well off the bench and should get his chance at starting games. It was more than just that game at Anfield.

His whole Everton career boils down to a 20 minute spell against liverpool and a 2minute goal against City.

But anyway, hes gone now, thank God.

99% of games that he started he flopped. Ineffective and unreliable.

Also blatantly untrue. He also only started 7 league games in 3 years here which clearly makes it hard to find any consistently level of performance or cohesiveness with the team.

He's done more here than have two moments. Whether that's enough for people is for them to decide. Clearly I think it was. Many don't. But saying all he did was score against City and play well against the RS is untrue and dishonest.

Anyway, ive said my piece on this boy over and over again.

I held big hopes for him, I was as baffled as the next person why he wasnt getting games ahead of Walcott certainly and also yes Bernie, considering how low his digits are.

But after Silva publically called him out it all made sense.

The lad is VERY talented and if he can get his head right and apply himself, he will no doubt go on to have a very good career. It hasnt worked out for him here, whether thats his fault is very much up for debate, but I shall no longer be adding to it.
