I always hoped he would get a run of starts for us, but he never did. If he goes to Newcastle, he should get that, and if he doesn’t, maybe I was just wrong about him having huge potential.

Nah. I just like him, liked his talent and never believed that he did anything wrong. I think his lack of success here is an indictment of our failings as a club. And I kind of want him to succeed so it is laid bare how much of a shambles we have been. If Vlasic ever moves to a league in the Western World again I'll be the same way with him.

How about his lack of success at RBL, is that an indictment of their failings too ?

Seems to be a bit of a reoccurring theme here, no ?

I think you'll find RBL's track record of developing youngsters to be a bit different than ours. Also I mentioned Vlasic in one of my posts as another example and I think you'll find he's done quite well.

Millennial millionaire in a sense of entitlement shocker, more news at 10.
Or alternatively he likes playing football and wants to go somewhere he can do that since there are plenty of places in the world he could.

If he were an IT guy and at his company they have all the cases to other people it's completely possible that he might find another job where he could actually do something. I mean some people wouldn't and would just sit around and collect the check, you can see Morgan Schneiderlin for an example of that, but wanting to do what you like doing isn't necessarily entitlement is it? Maybe he just likes playing football?

Oh the poor thing, all those different managers overlooking him.

Its them, not him.

Maybe he should go work in IT, cos hes clearly never gonna make it as a footballer.
