I work with someone who writes about Dutch/German football so yes, i imagine he will know PR/press people from RB, what you after?

It just seemed like a slightly farfetched “my ma’s brothers uncle” story with them being German but fair play if he does.

I work in a University in the Sports Science dept as a researcher, also here they teach Sports Media and my colleague works part time teaching, and part time as a freelance journo.

Uh ? What have kenny and jags got to do with Lookman ?

What I meant was, we had 7 subs sunday and he cant even get on the bench, so he is down to at least 19th man. I didn't see the need to have two defenders on the bench for the Derby, when Lookman could have offered an extra threat going forward by being a Sub

Just seems like one of those players with a terrible attitude to me.
Please explain how you think this terrible attitude is manifesting itself?
He was bought from Charlton to make a step up which requires some game time. No manager since has played him with any regularity, in fact they have brought in multiple other players for his position all of whom are given a game before him.
The lad just want to play football every week.

It's just so strange that last month he seemed to have made it to the 1st team ahead of Walcott now he's out of the squad?
This is the only major criticism I have of Silva, that his 'rotation' or 'chopping and changing' doesn't seem to have any strategy, and he should be coming out and saying something. Even if he's talking to Lookman in private, every player likes to hear their name on the news or press release, or see the article that says something like:
'I have faith in my young players': Marco Silva talks up Lookman, DCL, Kenny' - They are all on social media and will obviously get motivated by seeing their name around the news.

Walcott's defensive strength is almost ignored by Evertonians and Lookman has had a few games in which he's been ineffective. And Silva has made it clear he picks the squad of 18 based on how they are training, which suggests Lookman hasn't trained well recently.

Lookman is a young lad with a variable impact on games. Seems to be more prone to dips in confidence and form than the average young player. He should just keep working hard and the rewards will come. RBL suited him because he was generally playing cameo roles for one of the better teams in a league that is frankly somewhere between the PL and the Championship. DCL and Davies are equally variable. But we seem to have the highest expectation for Lookman.

It sounds like you’ve answered your own question. There’s a reason no one has fancied him.

yup, no confidence, not being given as many chances as others in the squad.
Fail to see how that's anything other than mismanagement.
Either give the lad a decent shot at a first team place or let him play football and have a career elsewhere.

Fail to see how wanting to play is an 'attitude problem' on his part.

How do you know he actually wants to play for us? do you know him? when he has played he has just strolled about the place most of the time showing the odd good touch.

And you also fail to see why 3 different managers not wanting to give him a run might not actually be mismanagement at all.

I've honestly never known an Everton player be so highly rated for so little reason. The lad's been here more than 2 years and other than the odd nice little shimmy in the middle of the pitch that gets him away from someone, he's produced next to nothing of note. He's got talent, clearly, but nowhere near as much as some people make out .There's a reason why he's still only a bits and pieces at player at a midtable club at an age when many others are established internationals and performing regularly at the top level.
