Wiki informs me he signed a 4 year deal in 2010.

signed in march 2010 mate so a 4 year deal would put him expiring in march, it would either have been to the jan before or till the june/july, as their the contract points in russia, 99% of contracts tend to run till the 31.12 of the year over here so basically signed on a 3 year 9 month deal initially for them

One player tipped to leave Rubin is Israeli midfielder Bibras Natkho, whose contract expires this month. He has been linked with a number of clubs across Europe, most notably English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur and Turkish Super Lig outfit Besiktas.

Know nothing about him, so couldn't say if I wanted him or not.

But yeh Spurs could definitely do with another midfielder.

Are we putting two and two together and making 5??
Just because Martinez fancied him for Wigan, doesn`t mean he thinks he is right for the current Everton squad?
Can anyone post a link to a direct quote from Bobby that we are in for Mc-Greedy?
I`m not sure myself.

he's a good player mate, reminds me a little bit of rosicky when he signed for arsenal although more energetic, would be a very very good addition for us with the injury to gibson and general lack of creativity in the centre

and think spurs just get used by every agent under the sun to link their clients with atm as their a easy target with the amount they brought in lately

Their hasn't been any mate, all the stuff is coming via prior interest from Martinez in him whilst he was the wigan boss

I'm an Evertonian who now lives in Russia, watches the Russian league and has seen him playing many times for Spartak mate, and he is not good enough.

What's your problem, i am guessing here that YOU do not watch the Russian league and your knowledge of McGeady is a lot less than mine is, but fair play to ya, you seem to have watched some video's of him on youtube so obviously he must be a great signing for us lid.

If you honestly think McGeady is a brilliant signing and push us into the champions league then your deluded, as for saying McGeady would be a decent signing for Barca, Juve or real Madrid... lost for words mate at that, Your either a family member of him, have his name tattooed on ya arse or have never seen him play outside of 3 minute montages of him skinning people on youtube - videos that obviously dont show him subsequently skying the ball or going back to beat the same man again and losing it...

It's the combination of mcgeady and Martinez's stewardship that I think will be awesome. He's a lost sheep in Russia. If he comes to everton his impact will be excellent. It'll boot that exceptionally lazy toe rag Mirallas up the arse (he needs competition. Without deulofeu he's gone back to being a pants highlights reel player!) and he himself will put defenders on the back foot and create a bit of a pacey spark into the everton team (which we need at the minute as you can't deny we're playing neat football but it's all a bit too sluggish lately!)...

And as regards his 3 min YouTube vids, I'm fully aware of how misleading those are. Look at bilyaletinov for example! Show stopper YouTube player, diabolical real life footballer. I've watched mcgeady on countless occasions for Ireland. The man has his faults. Classically, beating a man and turning around to beat him again and again and again followed by a piss poor delivery. Doesn't sound impressive I agree. However, the important point is that he actually is very good at beating a man and with Martinez there to guide him, he can enforce him to beat a man and then give a simple pass. I watched him for Ireland recently in Martin O'Neill's first game in charge and immediately you could see how fantastic he can play under the right guidance, which Martinez I believe certainly will provide!!

Make no mistake, if we sign mcgeady he will be an excellent acquisition for US! Maybe not for every team, but for this everton team and with martinez as manager, he will be awesome!

We could do worse if he's on the cheap. He likes to switch sides, like mirralas, but i don't see him as anything that will make pants moist. Although i said that about Bobby at the start of the season, and that jacket and shoes combo makes me hard. very hard.

Mostly the press are just dying for this to happens so they can say they got one right after linking him with us the last 18 transfer windows.

Wouldnt be my first choice tbh.
or second or third ...

I haven't seen him play that much but searching his name you can see we have been linked to him for last three years at more or less every window. Also every forum post I read from the various clubs he has played for or been linked with, most fans all say same thing - he can't cross for **** and his runs often come to nowt. But who knows? Maybe he will link up well with Seamus?
