We need someone who can properly cross the ball into the box. Our service has been pretty dire in recent weeks.

he's going to be boss - vault me
He is much lazier than naismith, switches off and is crap in the air mate, better at beating people, end product and passing about the same, neither good enough for us
He is well faster than pinnear, not as good at interplay with the people around him though and his movement is no where near as good, and he doesnt track back, pinnear although not imo good enough to be a starter is a much better player
Can he make an impact off the bench... hard one to answer, will he beat people with pace, yes he will, will anything come as a result of him beating people... likely not
Factor in we will have to get him on a free likely pay a small fee/signing fee and his wages will be amonst the best at the club, even taking a pay-cut he would be on starter money, for someone who is in the naismith bracket in what they offer i'd say we can do better elsewhere

One player tipped to leave Rubin is Israeli midfielder Bibras Natkho, whose contract expires this month. He has been linked with a number of clubs across Europe, most notably English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur and Turkish Super Lig outfit Besiktas.
He tracks back for Ireland as he is instructed to, maybe Spartak dont require that of him.
Weve been linked to him recently. He's not bad, a decent age and free. Think Galatasaray want him aswell.
Pretty good and fair analysis on what he can offer (Irish national team perspective)....

That article is right on the money
To all those giving out about Aiden mcgeady, what the **** is wrong with you!? Is it his name? Is that the problem? I mean bloody hell, if any of you moanbags saw those mcgeady vids on YouTube but instead he was some Brazilian bloke called LUIS RIVALDINHIO this forum would be exploding with excitement!
I mean, who do you actually want then!? Will we buy deulofeu? Of course not! I love Everton and all but reality check baby! We're not Barcelona or even in the same bracket! Maybe one day we will be but not now! Mcgeady would be an exceptional signing for us, maybe not for barca, real madrid or juventus (altho he would be decent!) but for us he'd be awesome! So get off your deluded everton painted unicorns in planet evertonia where we can afford to buy messi for the craic, and realise what a brilliant signing this would be to get us into the champions league and genuinely move us forward as a club!
I found it amusing when he pointed out that generally fans are more likely to lash out when someone beats two men and delivers a bad cross, but don't bat an eyelid when a player hoofs in a ball from deeper..... Although I know we would care with the way we are playing at the moment...
