being a celtic I have watched him from the beginning. Being irish as well helped. He's missing the final end product in other words.... crosses and goals. It has been the same all career and he hasn't improved. He is however one of the best in europe at going past people (big statement I know but those type of players are few and far between). he's also a hard worker.

Martin o neill has played him in the middle since he took over the irish team and he looked the real deal in the hole. Should we pay 5/6/7 mil for him. No. If he could cross and score I'd pay 20 but he cant...

I can never understand this, beating a man takes a lot of skill but surely crossing the ball is a couple of hours a day practicing after training.

Yes, this is puzzling to me as well. Our delivery into the box has been pretty average this season. Don't they practice it or something?

With Deulofeu out our only backup on the wings is Oviedo, Gueye or Kennedy. Surely McGeady would be a better alternative to any of them.

So how much is being reported? What do we reckon he'll move for? All I can find is that Spartak is "open to offers". That they are openly looking to sell him and the fact that he is out of contract in 6 months leads me to believe the transfer fee will not be much. I'd wager in the region of £2-4m.

Sky says we're 10/11 to land McGeady. And since I'm not familiar with British odds, could someone translate it? Does it mean it's likely?
