So how much is being reported? What do we reckon he'll move for? All I can find is that Spartak is "open to offers". That they are openly looking to sell him and the fact that he is out of contract in 6 months leads me to believe the transfer fee will not be much. I'd wager in the region of £2-4m.

I reckon 2m would do it in these circumstances. He's desperate to move and they'll want him off the wage bill.

I prefer Tom Ince as well, but if the difference in transfer fee is steep, McGeady might be the better option for our club. I think it's vital we spend the majority of our transfer budget on a striker.. whether that be in January or the summer, it needs to be done!

Depends on price really. 3m or less and I trust in two factors making him a relative success.

Our manager and the fact he seems to feel he has disappeared of the radar after so much promise/hype when younger. Believe me McGeady will come with a real will to make an impact in the Premiership.

The biggest worry is end product...which is already a problem with our three other wide players. I mentioned a few weeks back that he might end up exciting us in a few games...enough for us to get behind him but ultimately would not win us many points.

I actually think he has gotten better for Ireland in the last couple of years. Real change in attitude...much more mature and ready to take responsibility.

He doesnt even look like a footballer.

Its a no from me, terrible hair.

Having either Deulefeu or Mirallas coming off the bench has added real impact. Must be horrible marking one, then the other when you're tiring. With the injury to Deulefeu we'll miss that.

Say what you like about him but McGeady is a fullback's nightmare, he always makes something happen and has a right go. I don’t think it would be any harm whatsoever having him in our squad.

McGeady would bring something different to the squad...a genuine winger.
If you look at the players in our squad who play wide hardly any of them are genuine wingers, rather they are players who can play out wide as well as in the centre. This is true of Osman,Naismith,Pienaar(who played in the no. 10 position for S. Africa),Mirallas played in the middle for his last club.
Deulofeu is the closest to being a genuine winger but in time I think he will become a more central player ala Messi.
