Alan Myers leaves Everton for 'personal reasons'.

I'm not blaming Myers. I'm just thinking out loud how that might look for the objective observer.

I've got one foot in anti-Kenwright after the miserable January window, and will have both feet in it if the summer window isn't ambitious. Myers seems a lot more genuine than Kenwright does. But still, the Blackburn job happened far too quick for it not to have been planned before today.

What that means in the grand scheme...who knows. Myers won't spill the beans if he's still in the game.
Myers was good at his job, kenwright is terrible at his, I know which camp i'm in mate

Sorry but I've not read about the O'Keefe article etc....but if AM has already hooked up with Blackburn, then you have to ask was his heart really in the job at Everton. If you're a Blue, and you land your plum job at the Club you support, you don't defect to Blackburn. Sorry, but I'm just not having it....spill the beans Alan....come clean.

Chicken [Poor language removed]. Pun intended.

His tweet tonight was that he never left Everton to join Blackburn, he joined Blackburn because he'd left Everton.

When asked if all is well at Goodison on twitter, he said "Great Manager, Great Players and Great staff!"

On why he's left, "Personal reasons Dave! I take Everton very personally!"

The man's a communications professional. If there was nonsense to be knocked on the head, he'd have done so swiftly and adeptly. He hasn't. If it's one of the coaching staff or a scout who's moved on, the likes of the above could just be sloppy phrasing. From Alan Myers, it won't be.

Edit: And just when it couldn't get more obvious, "Blues, thanks for everything! Let's get behind Roberto and the team now, only they matter at any football Club!"

Bingo. I was on the fence about the board until this, but this points to something wrong with the management. Myers was a huge part of the positivity of this season, almost as important as Roberto himself to me, and somehow he didn't even see out the year.

There is something wrong with this.
