We look at ourselves as a grand old team but if you asked 100 modern footballers if they'd rather be a bit part player at Everton or an automatic starter at Fulham, wages aside, they're picking Fulham.
Go support Fulham then, your defence of proper bang average players is proper weird

He should make himself undroppable in the position he doesn't get to play is some kind of logic.

I think he's done an admirable job at doing something for no reward at all that he's not meant to do this season.
Don't make me laugh.
The majority of his games at Arsenal were wide right.
If he played more than 10 games as a No10 under Wenger I'd be amazed.
Face facts , he is simply not good enough for a team that aspires to the top 4 and was a terrible signing.
He needs to go asap.

The thing is he stinks at all of it. One good game isn't enough to say he's suddenly going to be not crap as a 10.

If he can't even do the basics in the positions he's been played in most of his career, whether he thinks it is his best position or not, how can you justify changing the whole team so suit him?
He has 1 good game and 0 bad games as a 10. So the assumption is he's bad at it?

I get how sample size works but still, why?

I also think Richarlison should play striker. If he had 1 good game at striker would you stick him back on the wing and say earn you spot here where you aren't as good?

We going to wait to establish whether he was talking about his international coach or Carlo before lambasting the lad?

Thought not.

You get a call up to your national team and the first thing you mention is “Hopefully I play in me preferred position” seems normal to me that lol

He’s been lambasted since the Chelsea game having played more of RWB role he’s obviously referring to that. IMO like lol

I think Iwobi is an ok player. The problem is that there are thousands of such players in the world. They have good skills, but they take little risk in their game. It almost seems as if they have too much pride, and therefore do not dare to fail.

It is possible that it is the academies around that produce these types of players, where you basically do everything right, until you need a little creativity and courage. But for Iwobi's part, he has to start performing better regardless of position on the field.

You know you can look these things up right?

Just for you ......

"Per stats from Transfermarkt, Iwobi made over 70% of his first-team appearances for Arsenal out wide, with the small remainder in central areas."

Important bit in bold

It’s just best for all parties to let him go. He’s not good enough for us or what we currently need. He can go and fulfill his ambitions to become the next Zidane at Bristol Rovers.

I think a funny thing being lost here is that a player said "I feel I play best in a different position" and a lot of Evertonians are going "nah mate you're definitely a right wing get your head down" like the dude is unaware of his own skillset.
