Stopped reading at- Iwobi's intelligence in possession.Good article that, but you'd argue that he's going to have to try and be a bit more positionally flexible as ultimately that's what Ancelotti likes.

Lookman had plenty of chances for an 18 year old lad. He's hardly proved us wrong since he left despite you touching yourself silly when he does something every 8 games for Fulham. We've now had Lookman, Kean and now Iwobi given no real chance to succeed and Evertonians keep asking "why is this player not trying hard enough to succeed?" instead of "why isn't the club putting these players in a position to succeed?"
Hahahaha he's going on the bench. On Iwobi's preferred position
Really I didn't speak, I read the post that he did and I would like to know his preferred position! Usually, I want to put players on the pitch where they are comfortable to play. If he has an idea, I have to know, I want to know
I have to tell him to tell me, I am your manager, tell me where you prefer to play! If he wants to play No.10 or No.9, I can put him there no problem.
I can adapt the system
Sorry for re-posting your info mate @Ring master . Don't want to be taking your credit!
But ouch....
Agreed, Carlo did not sound happy. What a dope.Hahahaha he's going on the bench.
Carlo doesn't sound impressed.
Putting Iwobi to the side for a moment this is exactly what I mean when I say people refuse to ask questions of the club. It's just wild.Lookman had plenty of chances for an 18 year old lad. Kean came during a year where the manager was sacked 3 months into him being here and we were in crisis until Carlo righted the ship. His profile was high and with Raiola as an agent another move was likely. He's maybe the only one I would argue should have gotten more chances but he didn't want to wait for them. If Icardi and Neymar didn't have injury problems he would probably have as many appearances there as he did here.
Iwobi has had 50 appearances or so in blue and looked crap in about 47 of them.
You have gone full rickyrider now.

Imagine he gets given the number 10 position now and bosses it.
To my recollection he's played there twice for us, maybe three times. Certainly can remember two of the occasions, including that West Ham game under Silva where to be fair to him he had a good game that day.
Why specifically was intelligence where you stopped?Stopped reading at- Iwobi's intelligence in possession.
By putting him at #9, he means the under 23’s
Fairly sure I remember reading a quote from him saying that he wants to play in a #10 role, so when this all gets settled I think that’s what will be confirmed
I stopped reading your opinions about football a while ago too.Why specifically was intelligence where you stopped?
Interesting that article though. I guess I'm not the only one who sees more in his game.
He reminds me of Peter Beagrie although Beagrie was a lot better ,they both try/tried to do too much before passing and that usually means the opponents have had time to regroup and defend their next pass much better .Why specifically was intelligence where you stopped?

Can we actually say he wouldn't be better creatively in that role though when his current role requires all his creative play to come through crosses which he's bad at?If he thinks 10 is his best position, that's fine. But to play as a number 10 in the PL, you need to either be extremely creative, or score goals, or ideally be capable of both. His record of goals and assists is poor to say the least. He's a very talented player I've always thought, but he isn't effective currently. The only way he will regularly play in that position is if he starts creating chances and adding goals to his game. It was extremely immature to question Ancelotti on social media (if that's what actually happened tbf).
CoolI stopped reading your opinions about football a while ago too.
Nobody refuses to ask questions of this club. This speaks to your ignorance of what life was like for us before Moshiri. Everything the club did under Kenwright was questioned back then. The financial margins we were held to made it that way.Putting Iwobi to the side for a moment this is exactly what I mean when I say people refuse to ask questions of the club. It's just wild.
I think the inability to develop players is a major problem with the club that we really should be giving a toss about.Nobody refuses to ask questions of this club. This speaks to your ignorance of what life was like for us before Moshiri. Everything the club did under Kenwright was questioned back then. The financial margins we were held to made it that way.
The majority of us don't give two tosses over young players that don't want to play for us after a year (Lookman, Kean) or crap players who want to have a moan (Iwobi).
