Don't know how you can say Below Average when we are up for the Top 4. The league shows you they're not Below Average right now. They're just not top of the league which apparently is the only thing that would make you happy.

The quick explanation is we aren't top 4 and that league position doesn't mean every player playing for the team is good.

And no, I'd be happy if our CBs could get into Leicester or Spurs team though and Holgate for sure doesn't.

I just think it is weird that people praise Doucoure constantly when he is miles worse on the ball than Iwobi.

He wasn't signed to be setting up loads of goals. Iwobi is supposed to do that.

Doucoure does his job on the pitch and he does it a lot more consistently than Alex Iwobi.

If you thought we were suddenly going to be jumping the queue this year then you've lost the plot. We are having a very good season unless you're an utter melt who thinks we should be winning every match we play like those in the Carlo thread.

It is all bitterness stemming from Lookman not turning into Messi here (or anywhere else for that matter).

Lookman has been shown up as a relegation candidate level player in the prem and his head can't take it. It's devloved into a state of delusion whereby Alex Iwobi isn't a useless footballer.

Gabriel Jesus is 23 and a very good young striker. Probably one of the best strikers at his age after Dom.

As for Grealish, a decent player last year and better this year.

Never said a good player can't be in a bad team or a bad player in a good team, but if you're starting every week for a team at the top of the table then you are likely Better than Average.

You've written essays this week in this thread and still not convinced a single person Iwobi isn't crap.

I don't necessarily think a midfield workhorse should be better on the ball than a supposed creative player surely, strange comparison. Just some odd shouts on Iwobi, he has been fairly poor and that's just the truth really.

You always get the oddball with a massive hard on for a particular player who thinks there’s some massive unjust going on. Sense will prevail with Iwobi, he’ll be sent packing in the summer.
