Well he hasn't really. When we were decent towards the end of Silva's first season him and Digne were key because of their link up down the left. It wasn't Baines-Pienaar but there was definitely a nice little partnership which for some reason got torn up.

And Richarlison is wasted out wide left unless it's in a front three really. He's not a winger, he's a forward.

Yes, we do need to improve, but we do also have options there - like you say, Gordon is one who looks like he could get a run there and I'm sure he will. But we also have other areas we need to address first.

Well, Digne suffered and he suffered by not having that combination play last season - and our team overall suffered because of it.

He doesn't, and yet was the midfielder with the most goals and assists in our team last year.

So yeah, there's some big issues.

But at the moment we're short on the right. We need a player for the right. Bernard, Iwobi and Gordon are for the left. If a good offer comes in for Bernard, sound, but there's other players that need to go first. And if Bernard goes we're then one injury away from needing a player for the left all over again. So the offer needs to be good.
