Every moment we struggle financially as a club you can thank that populist twit Boris Johnson for nailing shut our coffin in order to appease the Daily Express readers.

Only a complete fool like him could believe sanctioning a company like USM would make Putin turn his troops back to Russia with their tail between their legs. That Megafon sign coming down really did teach em didnt it Boris ?

he’s a fat utter lying horrible human

Hes not worth that money but the problem is replacing him. We have some semblance of a team now but anymore injuries/sales and its helter skelter ….
For me, this is exactly how I see it. For the first time in a long time we actually look like a “TEAM” as opposed to 11 players.

Everton the club that keeps on giving and let’s make another club stronger.
We need to build not make a small squad even smaller and weaker.
If he goes and no replacement found which let’s be honest it’s what normally happens we will be in even more trouble.

This club does not deserve its fans. That’s an understatement. We put up with so much sh1t3.

we won’t sell the clubs a mess not right now we don’t

And don’t care that Chelsea paid £110m for Caicedo and £60m for Lavia - Chelsea have haemorrhaged money over the past few years and no other club would’ve spent that much on them both.

He’s only worth as much as a team is willing to pay and right now I’d be astonished if anyone wanted to pay more than £50m.

Even at that price I find it bizarre that Arsenal would feel he's the missing piece that would push them to win the league.

Lads a very good player, inconsistent due to his age, but has a high ceiling. But in comparison...Declan Rice was arguably West Ham's best player by 22-23, won a trophy for them.

There hasn't been a game where you'd go "we missed Onana". That's not to rip into him as he's a main player for the side but jumping to Arsenal is a very big one

Arsenal arent buying him solely for what he offers in 2023.

Surely it's cheaper to buy him in the summer then?

They're gonna have to drop another £50+mill on a forward/attacker to have a go at the league again therefore spending £100mill+ in Jan.

Can't see it. And if it was a case on them dropping on us being desperate to sell...you'd think they'd be plenty more suitors

I'm not sure why people keep saying they need to sign a striker as they don't actually play with one, it's more a false 9 setup. I think they are just not being very clinical at the moment when it comes to chances but with Arsenal they have shown they can be previously, a confidence thing imo.
I think Onana stays for now then in the summer him and Branthwaite will both get sold for about £150m (Say £70-75m each) and the first team will see about £50-60m of it and the rest will go to paying off debts etc etc.

I suspect this will prove to be correct.
