I do find it funny that professional scouts from the likes of Arsenal and perhaps PSG, Bayern and Barca see there's a great player in there but Everton fans compare him to Fabian Delph

Delph was actually a very good player, just never fit.

He's a good player, with the potential to become a very good player, but, I think he needs to be in a team with better players around him than he does here. I'm not sure that out tactical plan is good for him either, more often than not we bypass the midfield and hit it long.

….he was outstanding in the last match at their place, I’d imagine they quite like the thought of signing him.
They could be thinking he stands out in an ordinary side like us. Last night very underwhelming. Still I suppose they are looking for the second coming of Vieira.

…I thought he was fine last night, definitely one of Belgium’s better players.
Low bar sadly,he didn't do much wrong but for a player being touted in the 60 million bracket against one of the lower ranked sides he seemed to always take the safe option. In saying that I hope we can move him on at a decent profit before he picks up an injury or has a bad game.

Don't get why fans won't to talk down the price on our players.

Get a decent price that puts the club in a good position or keep him, same for Branthwaite - it's not like we have a huge squad.

Our finances / PSR will never improve if we pull our pants down every time we have a player to sell.

DCL is probably the bigger risk due to contract running down.

I don't think so. It seems the media have already decided he is moving on, Tyldesley said as much in his commentary.
I think that's probably based on Onana wanting to move on, and possibly us wanting to move him on too.
Id guess 90% of our fans talk about him like he is moving on too!

Not a conspiracy, just people who have no real affiliation for Everton, not really caring!
