If the team sheet last season read

Gueye Garner
Onana Garner
Gueye Onana

Was anyone really bothered?
No and I think most were expecting him to go but hoping that Belgium would help carry his fee north of 60 but they and he were average so probably 50 is all we can expect

Not sure a PL team can buy a player and loan him to another PL team in the same period.

Yeah you're spot on

Would take that Philogene as part of the Onana deal as a buy not a loan, what I've read about this Jesper Lindstrom player doesn't inspire me with confidence, what is he third choice, Minteh, Philogene then him.

Err not quite. He cost us a large fee.

Brighton would be signing him for £5m and selling for £90m.

Buying young players with potential, keeping them for a minimal amount of time then flipping them for PSR profit is the Brighton model. Just taking their best ever example of this doesn’t mean this isn’t what’s happening here.

We’ve also potentially already sorted his replacement with the lad from Villa.

A revolving door on talent that barely matters to the fans just passing through the club to help the balance sheet. It’s exactly the Brighton model.
