You would assume he’s getting a pay rise along with the move, which considering he was rumoured to be on around £100k per week with us (reportedly a reason WHU backed off originally) that’s quite the outlay from Villa.
 

Wish him the best. Hopefully he turns into a world beater. Seemed like a good professional. I wonder how much the initial impression of "Cannot wait to turn a profit on this lad" affected the overall mood of the fans towards him.

Amadou Onana has joined Aston Villa on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee.

The midfielder, who joined Everton from Lille in August 2022, made 75 appearances for the Blues, scoring four goals.

He had previously had spells with Hamburg and Hoffenheim in Germany.

Everton thanks Amadou for his service and wishes him well for the future.
 
Wish him the best. Seemed a decent lad. Sadly because of the previous regimes these types of sales are needed.

However but it’s nice to sell a player for a profit so we can reinvest after years of losing players for free etc.
 
Proper funny when they say “undisclosed fee” when absolutely everybody else knows that the fee is and is reporting it, so it clearly is disclosed.
