Would sell. Haven’t seen anything out of him since he’s been here. Loads of overrated potential that will never be fulfilled at this club or any other big dream club of his.

Too late now, but regardless of what he may be in 6 years time, cash for selling him put towards a full back and literally any tough midfield scrapper and we’d be better off overall. The odd neat thing he does makes no real difference, little turn and spray it to Patterson who plays it back to Pickford. Just stick one of those rebounder nets from Argos in the centre circle and bounce things off that.

The supposed profit we are going to make when we do sell is definitely not getting bigger the more he plays.

Again a couple of well spotted, very well weighted passes which we didn’t see last year. But nothing else. Few times he was screaming for the ball in a bit of space and he didn’t get it which was noticeable.

Would like to see him on the bench and Garner moved in to the middle

He did lose his place in the run in so not like he's some undroppable in Dyche's mind. Didn't start the relegation six pointer at Leicester for example.

You could play him as a number 10 but ultimately Doucoure was denied by a very tight offside call and also a Sa wonder save so he's still getting into the positions to score, would Onana?

Also knocked an aerial ball down nicely to put someone (doucoure?) through, which makes me think we should be playing him further up the pitch in the old fellaini role. Seemed to be showing more for the ball today, thought he was better than previously and far from our worst player.

He’s a midfielder in a team whose manager doesn’t operate a midfield.
I don’t know good he can be until I see him play in an actual midfield.
Scratchy voice would be better coaching rugby
It’s more his ‘style ‘
It’s true, the setup doesn’t get him in many useful positions, but I cannot believe he has not once in a year arrived in the box for a ball to just drop at his feet to slot. Or even been on the edge of the box to hit the target. Where is he half the time? He doesn’t defend other than the stretchy last ditch tackles in the middle (that leave him out of the game on the deck if he misses), is zero goal threat. It’s almost unbelievable how you can be so anonymous in CM. We aren’t hoofing constantly at all.

I constantly moan about him, but it is only because even I can see there is something there that desperately needs unlocking. I like him. Seems an intelligent lad, and a laugh when he cuts out the badge slapping. Looks popular in the group. Everything is there.

But we keep playing 4 CMs all at once and each time he is the least impressive and least effective out of all of them. He’s got to work that out himself.

He just need to run and get involve.

First half Doucoure was chasing after 2 players playing keep ball all alone and Onana was standing still watching 5 yards away doing nothing. That was a good chance for him to get involve and make himself useful but he choose not to.

It’s these little effort all over the pitch that makes a difference between useful and anonymous.

Disappointed again with him today. Perhaps my expectations are too high but always get the feeling he's not giving 100%. Frustrating!
