In other words, when he was on the pitch he made a big difference to their defence. Conceding 4 away to Arsenal isn't good but Arsenal scored more v better defences last season. Sometimes those results happen.

Apparently there's tradition that any new players we sign have to get up and sing a song in front of all the players as a sort of initiation. Any ideas what this lot's will be?
