I think we can be concerned about a woman allegedly being assaulted, and also seek clarity as to the process, when it has happened, what actions have been taken by the club etc.
Unfortunately the board are untrustworthy and are engaging in what can only be described as gas lighting mate. Not on this incident but more broadly. That is the only way to describe their assertions that fans selected all the managers etc.
So it's not a stretch to ask, is there any evidence for this? Of course there is the alleged victim to think about, but there is a wider context here as well, which is the truth needs to be established.
If she has been assaulted with a headlock, there needs to be steps taken to urgently handle the culture. I dont think it can just be wished away. She is a senior executive and it is too serious to just leave hanging.
From my perspective, if this has happened, I would want to know what actions have been taken to ensure the individual in question has had to ensure they cannot attend football games anymore.
To me all this can be done alongside saying violence is wrong.
