It would not be relevant really mate. There are police/stewards present, and if they witnessed that assault, they would arrest, and have a record of it.

If DBB didnt want to press charges, then it may be dropped, but it wouldnt have relied on her in the first instance.

In the same way that the idiot at Tottenham yesterday will be arrested, long before they clarify whether Ramsdale wants to press charges.

The fact the police have no record of any incident needs clarifying.

That just tells me that police weren’t involved and some resistance on DBB’s behalf to involve them mate. They could be lying too obviously.

This, emphatically. Especially when said senior official is female. Not a chance it doesn't get reported to some authority somewhere. Not in 2023.

I mean, it's not like football grounds are not filled with police and stewards as well. You do not get to just walk up to a senior exec, especially a female one, and assault them.

Now yes, DBB may not want to press charges, but that would not prevent it being witnessed.

If the fans felt that way about you or I we'd be making plans to leave. The fact Kenwright has stuck around for so long says everything about the ego he carries.

Kenwright has played the game long enough and took on all comers who have opposed him and painted them in a bad light.

Look at the Blue Union stuff from his meeting with them years ago, the message of that interview and what was said was turned into " They recorded him " and the Blue Union were painted as the bad guys.

Why would you assume that?

The majority of DV is behind closed doors, with very few witnesses etc. It is also often between two people in a relationship, and can be very difficult for people to come forward. So no, most DV doesnt get reported.

This is an assault in a public place, from an unknown perpetrator so has no similarity to that. I do not know a world, where in the vicinity of 40,000, and multiple TV cameras, you can trespass into an exclusive area and assault a senior figure without being noticed and arrested.

It may happen, but feels very unlikely to me. The club need to come out and clarify what has happened, because objectively it would hard to avoid the conclusion it feels very unlikely the police would be unaware of it.

And it has no similarity to DV. If you want to look at this rationally, again you cant avoid that conclusion.

Someone from the club has leaked to media that supporters are assaulting board members with no substantiated proof. That's a very serious allegation against the support and one none of us should take lightly.

Not something I'd expect to see you advocate sweeping under the rug.

If it happened, I want the individual named, arrested, charged and punished.

If it didn't then I want the same for whoever is perpetuating these allegations.

They do not. The law of the land would trump that. It may be a factor in not prosecuting the case though, but would not impact upon it being investigated.
