Aren't we the team with the highest number of players scoring goals? I.e players from all over the pitch scoring? Thought someone shared this on the forum yesterday. At the same time, I think the spread of goals actually underscores that we don't have enough high-scoring midfielders or center backs (I feel like a champion chasing side should always have a defender who can contribute 6-7 goals over the course of a campaign. Ron K being a case in point).

In other words: we'd leave the security of certainty behind and embrace hope against hope.

Who cares? He's n the pitch. This is what elite teams do: they rotate and get players part of games and ave them for others because their schedules are enormous.
Not a chance on Gods earth we pay 50m for a Striker, utterly dreaming if you think we would.
