Each to their own. I thought he was excellent against Chelsea, and what 'he does' was showcased perfectly by taking the ball from Lukaku in a tight space on the touch-line, then giving it back to him in the run up to Naismith's second goal.

Against Spurs again, kept us up the pitch by retaining possession and bringing Barkley into play.

Think 'bang average' is massively harsh.
 
I think kone isn't the player we need to progress but has started the season well, but 3rd best behind stones and Ross hahaha come on lad you can't be serious, jags and Barry have been streets ahead of him and galloway recently

Apart from keeps the ball held up and digs in and gets his body across and helps our attack move up the pitch. He's also allowed for a lot more space for Lukaku to work in.

All in all a very good start to the season, with a slight blip at Swansea when neither he or Naismith benefitted from selection in the same side.

he's absolutely crap mate. theres no harshness about it. People are focusing on his one good attribute of being neat and tidy and ignoring the rest of his play that makes him awful.

he's playing wide midfield, he hardly ever gets a cross in, he wont properly support the full back offensively or defensively because his positioning on the right is absolutely turd.

he can't take on players because he doesn't have the skill, pace, or quickness of feet, and he wont track back or know how to defend because he's a bang average striker who is even more average on the wing.

He's been in a team thats done okay, but that doesn't directly relate to him, apart from southampton, thats literally his only 'good' performance. Other than that, he's been just average.

He shouldn't be keeping lennon, del, mirallas out the team by a long shot. Lennon offers exactly the same as him in the link up play department, whilst offering way more offensively and defensively..

and as for del and mirallas, both of them offer more goals, more assists an are about ten times better than him at every attacking aspect.

That's absolutely nothing special though it's literally his ONLY attribute, and when you mix that in with everything else, its what makes him average.

He's pretty crap, and we'll win more games without him than with him.
 
If Kone can get 15 goals this season, he can do a job. If not - and say he gets 5-6 we need to get rid. See what his stats are like in Jan before I judge him. He has done ok so far this season he just needs goals.

Aaron you are so blinkered about this for some reason. If it's nothing special then why can literally nobody else in the squad do it? He's made a better than average start after a hell of a long lay off. He should be applauded for that not written off.

Loads of people could do it though, given the chance.

Just because he's in the team doesn't mean he is deserving of it? Moyes had his favourites, so does Martinez.

I hope we release him or look to sell him for a tiny fee in january, because he's literally no where near good enough.

No other club aiming for europe would have him.

This is the worst argument against people disagreeing with you, ever.

It makes you look like a bit of a pleb, not everyone who doesn't rate Kone (a striker with 2 goals in 22 games) doesn't rate him because of his stats on fifa mate. Get real.
