rite Kone is playing well, he should not be played on the wing. the two best games hes had this season was Watford and last night, this is when Martinez plays him up top with Rom. He plays decent on the wing but he doesnt look like he is going to score or set anyone up. play him up to with Rom with 2 wingers.

TBF to Naismith earlier in the game he was asked to play in midfield when is best position is along side Lukarku - yet when behind RM sent Kone on , and played him where Naismith should have started upfront!
Do not forget Naisy hit three v Chelsea so he not all bad!
But never a midfielder!

So, you're dropping Barkley then? Or are you going to strip away the protection from our makeshift defence?
 
Gotta be hats off to bobby again here, yes the bloke does make his mistakes but he's actually fully backed 2 of the most hated players in recent years in naismith + kone, there was just no future in an everton shirt for either of these lads if you spoke to just about any fan, and now there fighting each other for a first team spot, while we're talking about new contracts. Well done lads but like I said, hats off to bobby!

well if im honest i wouldnt start Kone, id bring him on with 20 mins to go to play him in his actual position, swap him for Naismith or whoever is playing on that left. exactly what he done yesterday. where would you play him?
 

Really happy to see this fella fit again and playing well after what pretty much amounts to a two year layoff and being written off by just about everyone.

Hope he slots vs the shabite. "Super Arouna Kone" is a bit of a tongue twister though.

He seems happier now which is good to see.
