never before have i wanted someone too really turn it round
as much as Kone, i hated seeing him in the starting line up but it got too the point
i felt a total d'head he's human and could really see it affected him in his face.
the change now is great really give him confidence. well in Kone !

Great quotes from Kone in the Guardian. Would love to see him continue to contribute to the team's success this year. He sounds really genuine and I hope he can stay fit as he clearly gets on well with the whole squad and ads experience and finesse to our attack.

Yep, that confirms it, it's impossible not to like Kone as a person. I'd have him on one side and Del on the other, both of them have earned it.

“Whether that will be good enough I don’t know, but when I leave Everton I hope I will have left a positive impression. I would like to be remembered for being a guy who tried his hardest and showed a good image of himself when he was able to play, not for the missing two years when nothing was achieved.”

*Sniff* Hug me Arouna, you beautiful man.

Thought Kone did OK when he came on, certainly had an impact, for a period of the game we looked like getting back into it, shame he didn't get a start as Roberto's tactics from the start didn't seem to work until Kone came on, then they started to make a bit more sense, but it was too late.

He needs to start. He holds the ball high up the pitch and distributes sensibly far further forward than naismith or even Lennon who were very negative today.

Until Pienaar returns (more of an "if"), this lad should be first choice on the left.

i feel the ability he has to find space hold up the ball and keep possession moving forward was imperative to us last night and sorely missed in the first half...his class showed within moments of being on the pitch certainly more effective than mirallas, gerry and the blonde waste of space sctosman
