Of course I want us to win and play well. It's disappointing that we didn't. Just not going to lose my mind over getting outplayed by a better team.

I'm not going to lose my mind, but I'm also not going to say they did well there. Upping the tempo and playing better when you're losing isn't good enough. Our record away at these teams is NOT to be expected, it indicates a problem. Even taking their squads, financial power etc into account we should be expected to win 1 every 8 or 9, not 1 in 60.

The annoying thing is that we are a quality goalkeeper away from having a squad like that.

i've said it for over a year. we probably need that playmaker as well like because we would still score enough even with lukaku injured if we got someone creating loads of chances.

but howard is an abomination, he has not one positive attribute anymore, he needs to be put down.

....presume that is a ligament tweak for Jagielka, probably out for a good few games be interesting to see how the new combination goes. A few miscontrols from Galloway but he continues to impress (me), thought Deulofeu got better as the game went, he truly picks a pass and will create.

Have to agree about Howard, better a goalie consistently comes and challenges than stays rooted to his line. That is too many headers conceded in the 6 yard box, not sure who the goalie coach is but somebody needs a word.

The amount of times we've had to try and rescue games this season has been ridiculous. We've shown we've got the fitness by finishing games well, so no excuse. Got to be Martinez drilling that into them to ensure quicker starts.

That was the most frustrating game of the season by far. So sloppy.

we have been coming back to win a lot of points though. not ideal, as you say though.

Did Lennon play today? Was nonexistent in the 2nd half. Martinez pulled him too late in my opinion. Didn't do enough in the first half to constitute more minutes in the second half.

Howard was bad yet again. Too much baby momma drama going on I think. Forget the women Tim and do your job.

McCarthy, liked him the past two years, this year not so much. Seems to just be out there jogging for fitness. Doesn't offer much right now. Time for Besic??

I really find his hold up play of today pretty good, yeah. And him winning a fair amout of headers. Only question to who?

Giroud made more tackles than any other Arsenal player... LuKAKu needs to up his game

Better second half ;they had are card marked in the first half put the ball the air in the area and we cant defend it.
You could see the Arsenal players at free kicks ect doing just that
Bobby wants to wise up and get a keeper in who is going to go 100% for the ball not some half arsed effort,in modern football you get the shout every time if you go near the keeper.
Saying that didnt fancy us today ,Arsenal are a decent side in good form.

We made three clear chances in the second half, mate.

One was poorly taken, one hit the bar and the other was well saved.

Its the football eitherside of those chances mate. Its the taking 2 mins to get out of the half and then getting a simple pass wrong and facing a counter. Its the wingers going inwards and getting surrounded with 3 players to lose the ball, its the wingers not crossing when you have Lukaku in the box, lack of shots and the lack of throughballs and not using Del's, Lennon's and Mirallas' pace that worries me. Add to that the dodgy defence and GK that have lent so many cheap goals.

There's a stark contrast to Martinez's first season to this one. Its his 3rd season so I'm gonna become strict with him now. He hasn t addresses the issues, hasn't sorted the defence over the summer and hasn't been able to show his philosophy. You only draw or more likely lose when conceding 2 to 3 goals a game. WBA away was one freak result.

Must be aclassic case of watching a different game, thought he was poor.

Got into several good attacking positions but did nothing with them, and miscontrolled the ball (or failed to do so completly) at least 5 times giving Arsenal posession.

Not an issue, he's young and had an off game.

I just can't believe anyone would think he had a great game!

Everyone was pretty rubbish all round. Poor game plan, poor touches, poor passes. But still could easily have got something from the game.
