Another 3 points gift wrapped to the opposition. As good a run as they've been on we had ample opportunity to get something there.

Also, what is the point in putting Kone on with 2 mins to go when we're chasing the game, he should have been on 20 mins earlier.

I could go on and on but it just seems like the same things we all talk about week after week. Sigh, I can only hope we put a decent run together in our next couple of games.

McCarthy had their best player Sanchez in his pocket all game, not a peep. Goodnight Sanchez. He recycled possession to those going forward when he had it, not a problem. Worse than Barry? Barry was sending a lot of his time bailing Galloway out because they were (as we would) targeting him.

agreed . we are defending on our penalty area most games now and people are saying why doesn't the keeper command his box. Get the back four up 20 yds it might give us a start.

Got into several good attacking positions but did nothing with them, and miscontrolled the ball (or failed to do so completly) at least 5 times giving Arsenal posession.

Not an issue, he's young and had an off game.

I just can't believe anyone would think he had a great game!

Everyone was pretty rubbish all round. Poor game plan, poor touches, poor passes. But still could easily have got something from the game.

Deulofeu was probably the best Everton player on the pitch in teh second half. Yeah, his diving made him look like a massive tit along with his constant whinging but he looked the most likely to make anything happen.

....as soon as Jagielka pulled up I admit to thinking I wouldn't mind seeing the two youngsters have a run of games. I'm a Jagielka fan and wouldn't wish an injury on anybody but Mori has an opportunity now to stake a claim. Big game mid week.
 

thought Giroud was quality for them tonight , didn't help that our captain (who has been great all season ) played like a frightened child. Gerry was MOM for us tonight , James was awesome also. We need more than a couple of players to do well to get a result here. Ross was a show boating waste of space tonight.

to city, united and arsenal. no excuse for losing to those 3 and their £40m players!!

we need to go on a run now though, i was actually looking forward to october and thought we'd get 4 points from it which would have been a good return. so we need to make up some ground now. the league is so open this season, i think a couple of teams like west ham will genuinely make a push for europe with payet there (be a bit pointless if they neglect it again to be honest). We will be right up in the mix though, it's surely just a matter of time until we drop howard, i think joel may prove a few wrong if he gets a proper go.
