Well, where do we start? So many passengers in the side right now it's unreal.

Tim Howard is diabolical, he looks completely finished. Definitely at fault for the first goal and arguably for the second too. Finally comes off his line in the second half and nearly costs us another goal.

Jagielka and Stones combination has conceded five goals in last two games and they look, somehow, shaky as hell right now.

McCarthy is stinking the place out on a regular basis and just doesn't offer enough, it's as simple as that. Barry alongside him is a recipe for disaster; you'd never have known we have four defenders and two defensive midfielders ahead of them today the amount of space Arsenal kept finding.

Lennon shouldn't have started, have no idea what the thinking behind that was.

Is Kone being punished for something? He looked dangerous first few games of season and looked to work well with Lukaku. What good is bringing him on in the 89th minute going to achieve? Joke of a substitution.

Deulofeu looked decent for me, Barkley had a poor game and got lucky with his goal. Galloway scares the life out of me when he is defending, cannot wait for Baines to get back.

I think the defence is so shaky because they don't trust the keeper. Same as it was most of last year.

We shouldn't be feeling good now as we face *easier* teams next. Nothing is easy. Allardyce's Sunderland will park the bus and leave it to us to open it up which we struggle to do. WHU have been on a roll ao that isn't easy. Villa will have a new manager by then and that wouldn't be easy either. I can't see any sense of consistency. Same 8th to 10th kind of a season.

.......I'd work relentlessly on them coming for challenges, cross after cross repeated and repeated. I was thinking of Southall, he'd have wiped everything out in front of him, it's happening too often and it needs to be worked on at FF. Basics.

he's scared of contact. he doesn't even get touched by the striker when they score. he dangled his arms out there and gets his body firmly out of the way. it's what you expect of a rookie who's never kept before. he's got the advantage of using his hands and the fact refs penalise any touch - he needs to be binned right now.

That's really the key to our season. If we make this run look easy we could find ourselves up the table and in good shape

....as soon as Jagielka pulled up I admit to thinking I wouldn't mind seeing the two youngsters have a run of games. I'm a Jagielka fan and wouldn't wish an injury on anybody but Mori has an opportunity now to stake a claim. Big game mid week.

i was content with barry's red card knowing we have the chance of smashing sunderland if he's not playing. just our luck that it'll be the norwich match instead.

....we know the physical advantage is with the keeper, knees up and arms out. It's the forwards who should be worried.

Many things to improve on, but there was a bit more fight in the second half and for that, I was happy. Much more pace with the ball, also.
