When was the last decent youth player we had come through? I said decent, so don't include Tom Davies.
Barkley most likely?

I read it during the work commute it does the job for me. The articles on there are miles better than anything the echo has ever put out. I don't get why people complain about it's model though, I'd rather pay a few quid a year to avoid click-bait articles and have no adverts.
Never heard of them, and I wouldn't pay for information that's freely available elsewhere.
What will happen to this site if we continued to post them?
Wouldn't pay to read stuff on line tbh.
Because folk want high quality, long form writing, updated twice a day and they don't want to pay anything for it...
Come on lad, if The Athletic offered you a job, you wouldn't be taking that stance.
Curious. Whats the story with opening a thread for discussion based on, or in reference to, an article in the Athletic?Blues,
A reminder to not publish any articles from The Athletic.
It's a subscription site and they have quite rightly pulled us up over posts in this forum containing their articles.
Sadly warnings and bans to anyone who shares content to The Athletic.
Thanks

And is there an issue with say a 2 sentence quote from an article int he Athletic?

We'd need to close it, because 99.9% won't have a subscription and it'll likely lead to someone sharing the article in full which lands us in hot water.
In the past for others (like The Mirror) we've had legal letters come through.
