so within the past 5 minutes you've went into three threads (that i have seen) just to do the following

Youve stated Baines as not good enough
Stated Jagielka as not good enough
Stated Stekelenberg isn't good enough

Nice work Dave

Never change @davek .... never change.

He makes the forum more interesting that is for sure! lol

It was absolute ... on here without Dave.

Not quite.

I stated Williams and Mori are the future blend at CB
That we have S'tons #2 Stekelenburg's as our #1
That Pulis got what i consider to be our #1 LB

Btw, it's a bit rich you getting upset about my comments re some of our players when you've been trashing McCarthy, Cleverley, Lennon etc for the past few weeks.
I agree about Galloway. He looks the business for West Brom so far today. My thought is Funes Mori will play a lot this year giving Jageika lots of breaths. I see Galloway disposing Baines as early as next season it may take two years to supplant Jags for Funes Mori based on his experience.

Galloway is a centre back mate, yeah Pullis is playing him at lb today, but then again he does play a back 4 of 4 cb's most games which should tell you something

He can play left back with aplomb no mater if he came up as a center back. Most of his experience so far in the big time has been left back.

yup he was also badly exposed as not being a natural left back in at leats two games last season - against City and against Stoke mate.

He's a god young player with promise, but the loan move to let him learn under a good no frills defensive coach like Pullis is the best move for him, will guarantee that he will never become ur starting left back though

Jags did not impress me much yesterday did not seem to suit being along side Williams as you say Mori will get games alongside Williams imo!

Jags didn't put a fot wrong all game yesterday, only real chances they had came from Aunautovich on their left mate

Mori made a mistake in each of the first two games that could have cost us big time, don't see Koeman being as generous as OFM was with that type of play

I still think this is out for discussion. When you have a talent pool to work from sometimes you have to make some pieces fit that didn't belong before. Galloway has the pedigree to learn on the job and will be a skilled labourer no matter were he lines up.

If Koeman's strategy is not to bend out of shape early doors the old guard who could cause trouble for him as they did for Martinez then I can understand him persevering with them for a while...as long as they're not obviously hopeless.

With Holgate, Funes Mori, Galloway at the club Jagileka for one has to be marking time though...and that's even before a possible last week purchase of another CB. His captaincy should not be allowed to complicate matters...Martinez made that error and it shouldn't be repeated.

On Baines: he's got an Indian Summer in him in theory, I suppose. And any natural predator for his position has been moved on in one way or another. I have a feeling his body isn't up to the task anymore though. I'd expect him to have long lay offs, at which point probably we'll have to move Mori over until a transfer window arrived so we could get our own back in again....which was why it was such a numb nuts decision to loan Galloway out in particular.

Crikey, this is all getting a bit obvious here Dave, it's like Everton is your mum and Martinez is your dad, you have some step brothers (Baines, Jagielka and Mirallas) which you can't stand as they came from a previous relationship your mum had (with Moyes) and now the mighty Koeman has come in to replace your dad (in this metaphor) you're determined to snipe away.

Just enjoy it mate, we've made our best start in years, we look likely to do some business in the next 72 hours and Martinez has got himself a decent job.
