£50m is the new £30m. That's filtering down to lesser amounts. I agree his value is less than £10m, but we must pay the 'going rate' and the 'going rate' for every single player has risen.

I'd be more than happy with him for that price in today's market. Always liked him. No he's not some fancy name ending in '... diho' but I'm also not a kopite so couldn't give a toss.

Experienced, always left a good impression whenever I've watched him and got at least 2 or 3 years left in him barring any nasty injury
