Erm which Euros did you watch ? Portugal were leaking goals from everywhere when 38yr old Carvalho played , then he got benched for Fonte and Portugal won the Euros !

I am sure some are. I think Zlatan is past his best. Ashley Williams has been a good pro for Swansea, but he's had his best days. Stones signalled he was unsettled a year ago. A stop-gap replacement is not what I expected

Always liked him when I've seen him. Price is steep but in a world where mane goes for £38m and Allen goes for £13m it's not too bad.

32 in 3 weeks. I don't call a 32 year old a great signing when Stones wants out, jags is old and Distin has gone. Should have been looking for a young central defender a year ago.

Yes , 32/33 is still a good age for a CB but most go downhill quickly after 34 , is it a good idea to spend 10m on a player who may just have 1 good season left in him ?
